Oh, the places you will go! A turn-key adventure rig — fully armored, fully luggage-equipped, and ready for the backcountry or the daily commute. Also fits in at nearly any Starbucks seamlessly.
I am putting my BMW F800GS up for sale. Since my KTM 790 is getting most of my saddle time lately, it is time to pass the BMW on to the right rider.
This is a turn-key adventure rig. The mileage is ~60,000 km, but this bike has been meticulously maintained. Every single service since day one has been performed at a BMW dealership. I have a physical binder with every record and receipt to prove it. You will not find a better-documented middleweight GS on the market.
Two owners. Both BMW people. Nobody cut corners — the paint still pops, the chain is clean, and the original keys, tags, and plastic OEM key are still here because nothing got tossed. That is the kind of ownership history you can see and feel on every ride.
New battery and ignition antenna installed this week. It is ready for the road and trails. This bike needs absolutely nothing — fully armored, fully luggage-equipped, and ready for the backcountry or the daily commute.
Both metal keys, the plastic OEM spare, and the dealer key tag — still showing F800GS, blue, stock #2001635 from when this bike was new. That is not memorabilia; it is proof nobody lost track of what this machine is.
The 2013 BMW Motorrad Canada full-line catalogue (Unstoppable Since 1923), the original limited warranty card, and the BMW insurance document pouch — kept together, not thrown in a drawer and forgotten.
The built LEGO Technic BMW GS Adventure — an R1200GS, not an F800, but the same blue and the same GS energy. It comes with the bike for the next owner who understands why these details matter.
Both metal keys, plastic OEM spare, dealer tag with F800GS / blue / stock #2001635, and Vancouver BMW key fob.
Full-line “Unstoppable Since 1923” brochure plus the original BMW limited motorcycle warranty card.
Original BMW Motorrad document pouch — the kind of thing that disappears after the first owner. Still here.
Built LEGO Technic GS Adventure in the same blue — not an F800, but the right colour and the right energy for your desk or garage.
Electronic Suspension Adjustment — dial in comfort or sport on the fly for loaded touring or solo rides.
Factory BMW heated grips for BC shoulder-season riding and cold mountain passes.
Aluminum hard cases — lockable, waterproof, and ready for multi-day trips out of the box.
Engine and fairing protection for off-road tumbles and parking-lot tip-overs.
Heavy-duty rear rack for dry bags, RotopaX, or additional gear on top of the panniers.
Aluminum bash plate protecting the engine and exhaust headers on rocky trails.
Only ~1,000 km on them. Hook up great on all surfaces and last forever.
Installed this week — turn the key and go. No deferred maintenance waiting for you.
Factory specs per BMW press materials. Actual equipped weight may differ with luggage and accessories.
I have maintained this bike to BMW dealer standards since purchase. Every oil change, valve check, and scheduled service is documented with receipts. A complete scanned archive of work orders and parts history is available for serious buyers.
View Service Record PDFI am highly motivated to trade this F800GS for a KTM 300 Enduro. If you have a 300 Enduro and are looking to move to a capable, mid-weight adventure bike, let’s talk. I am open to a straight trade or working out a cash difference depending on the year, condition, and setup of your KTM.
